Sculpting your own stutuaries!

I have found that, although bought items can be pretty, I feel connected more to the ones I make. Even for those not to crafty you can do this. I usually go for sculpy clay found at any Wal-Mart or local craft store. It's easy to use and you can bake it in your home oven. For the ones more crafty, you can use wire for larger projects, and I actually use toothpicks alot for details, instead of actual sculpting tools. If you are like me and a penny pincher, you would be amazed what a toothpick and butterknife can do! There are very simple designs also for those that choose to take the less challenging path, this is where I started out. I also love to do wood burning crafts. These are fun for the tiles you may use on your altar or just as nice room decor. There are several shapes of pre cut wood that you can choose from at and store that sells craft supplies. If anyone is interested in a more detailed description on how to do one of these crafts please let me know! Do you find this valuable?

I like that idea. Not only would it be fun, but it's a money saver too. I remember working with stained glass when I was younger; it was an interesting experience. Do you find this valuable?
