After suffering a very serious illness that threatened my life and then deciding to do what the doctors said couldn't be done and heal myself, I figured it was time to follow my calling and begin studying. I have researched a lot but have not yet practiced. That will be starting soon when i can find time to dedicate to my rituals. With 4 kids its is very hard to find a free moment. I have been a Solitary Warlock for awhile & I am just getting back into this side of life, but I think of myself as a Warlock & not a Witch like I did before. Well I have all types of stupid things to say but they make mind intime. Its hard for me sometimes to say what I mean in word's & not voice. Well hi to all. Mar 5 2009, 6:09 PM EST \| Post edited: Mar 5 2009, 6:10 PM EST greetings to everyone ^_^ i am drayconia but dray is fine. i dont mind. umm....i felt i should know everything and train my mind before practicing wicca because the spells do take alot of visualization. so i have been, for the the past four or five months, studying its history and other elements that go into the practice. like the different gods and goddesses and so far i have only found info on the goddesses selene athena hecate and the god pan. i also looked into wiccas relationship with paganisam. the history of the Pentacle. i had to make sure i knew the principles of wiccan belief. and alot of the info i got off here before i stoped and relized i could join. -_- aint i silly. i know alot of other stuff to just about the correct why to set up an altar and i have been studying astrology since 2003 i have a book on it which i bought with my own money so my mother could complain except to say, " i dont know why you need that." as she makes a face. she haz never got me. Apr 30 2009, 6:09 AM EDT I always find it reassuring when I hear that I am not the only one to have gone through what you have. I hope you are well now. The greatest affirmation of one's natural ability to tune into the universe and help ourselves is result. I also was shoved from pillar to post, bankrupted by doctor's bills with not a single one being able to tell me what on earth was wrong until I discovered acupuncture, homeopathy and 'the green book'. Only when I took an active part in recovering my wellness did I begin to see results. I love the secret that was discovered and cannot wait to learn everyday, new things and contact new people. It has been my understanding that in Wicca, warlock is seen as a derogatory term meaning untrustworthy, or one that has been kicked out for being an "oath breaker. I'm not judging, just wondering. I've always been interested in wicca but i've never really studied it or tried anything much, i need some guidance really. But recently i've gone through a really bad break up, with someone i thought was going to be with me for a very long time, turned out i was wrong, but i'm in a pretty dark pace right now and am in need of a bit of healing, so any suggestions would be really helpful. Aug 1 2009, 10:51 AM EDT hey every1!!!my name is Stephanie(A Wiccan name hasnt come to me yet).I started studing Wicca a couple of months ago.I came across wicca while doing some research online and I feel in love with the craft immediately.All the beliefs I have held ever since I was a young child are the beliefs of Wicca.I have never felt any connection to Christianity-the religion I was born in2 but I felt an immediate connecton to Wicca.I hope to learn more by joining this wiki and I hope I can eventually help others here!!!
