No problem. :-) I enjoyed the Thoth deck because it gave partial definitions to the cards on the cards themselves making them easier to learn - but the rider waite deck is probably the most recognized and most popular. Shoot back a comment if you have any more questions.

Dear Everyone.
I just wanted to say - what a lovely site. And I mean that, I can truly feel the gentleness and love coming from it. I'm disabled, which has led to facial disfigurement (which is why I haven't put my pucture up, I know only too well what happens to me if I put my picture anywhere) and I've never felt anything shine through my computer screen at me like this site has done.
Forget all these Samhain sites that promote it as a festival of death that should be led by Jason Voorhees, this is the true Wiccan site. Thank you all very much for it.

I have found that, although bought items can be pretty, I feel connected more to the ones I make. Even for those not to crafty you can do this. I usually go for sculpy clay found at any Wal-Mart or local craft store. It's easy to use and you can bake it in your home oven. For the ones more crafty, you can use wire for larger projects, and I actually use toothpicks alot for details, instead of actual sculpting tools. If you are like me and a penny pincher, you would be amazed what a toothpick and butterknife can do! There are very simple designs also for those that choose to take the less challenging path, this is where I started out. I also love to do wood burning crafts. These are fun for the tiles you may use on your altar or just as nice room decor. There are several shapes of pre cut wood that you can choose from at and store that sells craft supplies. If anyone is interested in a more detailed description on how to do one of these crafts please let me know!

I like that idea. Not only would it be fun, but it's a money saver too. I remember working with stained glass when I was younger; it was an interesting experience.

For example: Call on my Raven or my Hawk as you need, They will fly to you and brush their wings lightly against you. Keep a feather before they fly off... untill you call to them again... My Luminant One (sent to a special person with special energy)

I have been reading up about all the different deities,on here and numerous other sites and books. I have been practicing for a while now, and I have just been calling on certain deities for each of my particular needs when they arrise, but I was wondering if there is a way to work with only a few, to have a more personal connection with them.I would greatly appreciate any advise or guidance anybody could give me.

I've been practicing for about that long maybe a little more, in most cases I do know what I'm talking about even it seems like many people don't seem to think so. I'm finding that living in LA is harder than it should be because a lot of people here don't seem to be too interested in magick/spirituality to begin with, and when they meet someone who is, they have a tendency to be a bit controlling due to their own fear and lack of knowledge. Not a fun time. The option for me is to stay in Socal and put up with this game, or go back to CT and put up with it there too. What's the difference? In Wicca, we believe in the 3 fold law. After all of the centuries that we have been persecuted, look what is happening to the christians now. Their God's name cannot be anywhere in site, while our beliefs are welcome.. It's a shame that they have to go through this, but now they are starting to understand what we have withstood for centuries, only their's is much milder so far. I send them Blessings to withstand this and come to peace with us and others.

Paganism is defined as any religion outside of christianity, jewish faith, or muslim. also has to do with polytheistic worship. Paganism - anything not christian based.
Wicca is: A polytheistic Neo-Pagan nature religion inspired by various pre-Christian western European beliefs, whose central deity is a mother goddess and which includes the use of herbal magic and benign witchcraft.

Hi so ive never truely been a user of the craft, but for an holiday present from a co worker of mine, i was given a hand made wiccan necklace wich secretly hold anything like herbs and such, and i was looking at the herbs since so far i havent made any groceries for fruits and i only have herbs and oranges.. but is it possible to put two different things together like an orange peel and cinnamon together without having any possible side effects happen or is it better to just use one of those,.. this is an example but i do feel strongly about those two herbs,..
if someone could get back to me i would greatly appreciate it,
i am very new to this but i am in need of some luck , love, wealth and protection in my life, since those that were specified have not been coming to me at all. or as i should say ever... i undoubtly know that i probably sound like a very new and unwise user of the craft, and if you would like to talk to me personally about this i am willing to take all suggestions and tips ..

You can just put them in, but if you do that, I would recommend that you do so inside a circle. There are certain spells you can do too, but they are too complicated for me to explain here.
